Details

• Developed an automated running lap-tracking system using cameras installed along the running course.
• Applied a YOLO-based object detection model to recognize participants’ bib numbers and automatically count completed laps.
• Designed the system to reduce evaluator workload and improve the efficiency of military physical fitness assessments.
• Received the Excellence Award (President of the Institute for Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation Award).
