About
Undergraduate Researcher in Robotics & AI
I’m Andrew Youngmin Lee, an undergraduate student in Artificial Intelligence and an undergraduate researcher at Gachon University. My research focuses on autonomous robot navigation and reinforcement learning, with a broader interest in how robots learn and make decisions.
My navigation research explores failure-aware replanning within an LLM-DWA framework, selectively using an LLM to help a robot recover from navigation failures. My current reinforcement learning research investigates hybrid approaches that combine on-policy and off-policy learning to improve policy learning. I am also interested in vision-language-action (VLA) models and their applications in robotics.
Beyond research, I am active in an AI student society and collaborate on projects with fellow students.
